Timothy Levensaler is the Chief Operating Officer of Marine Growth Ventures, Inc.

Timothy Levensaler has over 20 years of maritime experience and has sailed for 13 years as a Master Mariner. During this time he also served as Project Manager for several multi-million dollar government projects, ship conversions, and repairs. He’s also been appointed as Ship Superintendent for numerous multi-million dollar shipyard projects for several different companies around the world.

In the late 90’s Capt. Levensaler founded Sophlex Enterprises, Inc. and Sophlex Ship Management, Inc., in order to provide customized, quality vessel management services to vessel owners and operators, both in the U.S.and abroad. Timothy Levensaler holds a BS in Nautical Science/Marine Transportation from the Maine Maritime Academy, Castine, Maine, where he graduated fourth in his class of 163 with “High Honors”. Additional studies in Business Management, Tanker Operations and Oceanography.
