Marine Aggregates, Inc. ( MAI ) is focused on developing opportunities in the mining and production of construction aggregates and other minerals such as crushed stone and gravel; and delivering it to markets throughout the southeastern United States from mines located in the Caribbean, Central and South America.

The primary uses for these aggregates include the construction of roads, sidewalks, building foundations, and home construction. The tremendous amount of growth in the southeastern United States, primarily Florida, Georgia and the Carolinas; as well as the reconstruction needs along the Gulf Coast have created a significant demand for such aggregates as crushed limestone, which is the primary ingredient to making cement and in turn concrete. Furthermore the massive construction boom in Asia, particularly India and China have put pressure on supply throughout the world.
